Training & Support

Midland Unitarian Association of Lay Preachers & Service Leaders
Founded 1897

Our aim is to provide support and training to lay people leading services in the Midland Unitarian Association.

Most of our congregations continue to rely on lay members and visiting worship leaders for their regular acts of worship, and members of this Association continue to make a vital contribution to this. During 2015, our members led over 180 services.

Putting the Worth into Worship: Using the Ordinary and Everyday to Create Experiences of Worship

The Midland Association of Lay Preachers and Service Leaders is offering an exciting training day, led by Rev. Ant Howe, minister of Kingswood.

We will also be asking participants to bring readings, poems or music on the theme of Autumn moving into Winter.

Come along and be inspired!
