January Key Messages from MUA Executive Committee

I apologise for the late posting of these – an oversight.

Key Messages from Midland Unitarian Association

Executive Committee meeting, 30th January 2016

Sesquicentennial Celebrations (1): We are hoping that every single congregation in the District will send at least one delegate to our 150th Annual General Meeting. It is on Saturday 26th March 2016, at Kidderminster New Meeting House. We are asking congregations to bring their banners, and also any historical memorabilia, for an exhibition on the day. The Kidderminster congregation will be providing lunch, at a cost of £5.00 a head. The Secretary will be sending out details to all congregational secretaries very shortly.

Sesquicentennial Celebrations (2): The Secretary is thrilled to announce that the commemorative publication, Celebrating Our Community: A Short History of the Midland Unitarian Association, and Original Words by Midlands Unitarians will be launched at the District Annual General Meeting on Saturday 26th March, at Kidderminster, with a cover price of £8.00. At 92 pages, it is well worth it!

Malcolm Sadler: we are sad to report that, after many years of devoted service, Malcolm Sadler has retired from the Executive Committee, due to ill health. His place as Ministers’ Meeting Representative is taken by Rev. Winnie Gordon, minister of Birmingham and Kidderminster, whom we were pleased to welcome to this meeting.
