birmingham district women's league

It is with regret that I have to report the disbanding of Birmingham District Women's League as from the end of April.  A new branch will be formed at Dudley under the secretaryship of Barbara Russell.  I will continue to keep in touch with Current Fellowship Members who will continue to receive their bimonthly League Letter . Oxford and Kingswood Branches will no longer be affiliated to a District but will continue to function as currently.

This is a sad end to an era that had so many well known hard working people from within the Birmingham District over the last 5 decades, and not a very nice end to my year as National President.
